HLH is so friendly and informative. This is our first experience with braces and they are making the process very easy for my daughter. The point system is also awesome. Glad we found HLH.

Alexis and Dr. Hansen went above and beyond explaining the process and necessary treatment for my kids, while making sure the kids themselves understood. I was impressed with the staff and service, and the office was so nice it had the kids excited to go back. For the first visit, it was a very good experience.

I chose HLH Orthodontics hoping to achieve a confident, well-aligned smile, but unfortunately my experience resulted in the opposite. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, I have a foundational understanding of orthodontics. When I first met Dr. Hansen, she seemed attentive and aligned with my goals. She initially recommended IPR or veneers for my upper laterals. After I agreed to proceed with IPR, I was later told it was no longer necessary. As treatment progressed, I felt increasingly discouraged from asking questions and ultimately chose to trust the process. When my braces were removed, I was left with an open bite and a visibly canted (slanted) smile. Upon reaching out to discuss these concerns, I was told it would take four weeks for a return call. After calling again, I was able to meet Dr. Hansen in person. During that visit, she acknowledged the open bite and admitted that bracket placement on teeth #10 and #11 was incorrect. However, she denied any cant or slant, despite my concerns. Her proposed solution was a limited “patch” correction for only those two teeth, rather than addressing the full outcome. HLH made our visit for my son's braces consultation a great experience. They clearly explained each step of the process, pausing along the way to answer any questions I had. I really appreciated that they also made a point to ask my son if he had any questions, which made him feel included and comfortable. The entire team was very professional and attentive.
